Spent 2 weeks foh babysitting for Ne-Yo and Mario on their ongoing Champagne & Roses World Tour. Ten sold out UK arena shows. Providing technical support to their engineers on Digico consoles with Waves packages and making sure all the boxes went back on the right trucks at the end of the night. Great production all round.

The tour was tinged with sadness following the sudden death of production manager Joe Falcón. He was a joy to work with, always had time for every other member of the crew and went out of his way to make sure people were being treated well and with respect. He will be missed.

Sent out on the long walk to FOH once again to look after visiting engineers and ocassionally push faders for 2 nights of pop. Digico turned up with chocolates and mince pies. Only seems fair, we did put 10 of their desks in (they missed a second SD11 looking after system stuff at front of house), and yes it was cold.

Back in the O2 Arena London looking after FOH for the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball. Featuring Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Clean Bandit, Jax Jones, Joel Corry, Tom Grennan, Becky Hill, a load of D&B speakers and about a dozen Digico mixers in a variety of sizes.

I have spent much of 2019 working with Paul Young and his band as monitor engineer. A combination of touring and festivals in the UK and Europe. A compact touring package utilised a Digico SD9 and Sennheiser G3 in ear monitors.

We concluded with  a short tour around UK arenas joining Cher on her Here We Go Again tour. I won the bigger desk raffle for this run,

Actually we finished at Butlin’s Minehead but let’s be honest, supporting Cher sounds better.
